Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR has reacted after the Serb protest in the north of the country, which it called peaceful.
KFOR said their troops were on the ground and carried out patrols in surrounding areas to provide a safe environment, as they said the protest continued without a “security concern”.
“KFOR continues to implement its UN mandate, for the benefit of all people and communities living in Kosovo at any time and impartially. KFOR acts as the third security reacter, in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and with EULEX, respectively as the first and second security responder”, the report said.
Today, northern Serbs have protested the government's warnings of opening Ibër Bridge in northern Mitrovica.
