Coach Frank Klopas has welcomed Shaqiri, hoping to make him available as soon as possible.
The good thing is, some healthy or available guys are coming back for the game, but not for the League Cup match. I hope we're in the finals of the League Cup so we have all the players available because we need all of them”, Coach Klopas said.
He will not appear at the United States League Cup against Toluca on Friday.
Shaqiri left Chicago in June to unite Switzerland in preparation for the European that took place in Germany.
