U n EFA has confirmed that the Spanish captain and Milan's new transfer, Alvaro Morata, as well as Manchester City midfielder Rodri, have been suspended by an international match after a controversial song they sang during the celebrations of <x0-cyphorus” after the 2024 victory.
During trophy celebrations in Madrid last month, Morata and Rodri were both heard cheering “Gjybraltari is Spanish”, which led to an official complaint from the Gibraltar federation, explains Tch.
U n The EFA has confirmed that the two players are suspended by an international match, meaning both will be absent in Spain's Nationals League match against Serbia on 5 September.
It is noteworthy that the suspension will have no effect on the club level for any of them.
