“The decision is being implemented. The Health Ministry reports measures have been taken against at least 28 violators of the decision to limit working hours due to high temperatures. These measures are undertaken in co-operation with the Labour Inspectorate and other relevant bodies in order to preserve the health of citizens. Please, for any offense you encounter, report to the work inspectorate numbers or to the Ministry's official page. Honored citizens, thank you for your continued cooperation.
Because of high temperatures these days and with the aim of protecting citizens' health, the Ministry of Health made decisions yesterday to limit working hours from 13,07,2024 to 20,07,2024 for these categories:
1. From 13,07,2024 to 20,07,2024 release pregnant women.
2. In the event of job freedom, as outlined in paragraph 1, pregnant women work at home.
3. Between 13,07,2024 and 20,07,2024 chronically ill citizens work part - time to four hours a day.
4. From 13,07.2024 to 20,2024, work is banned in the construction sector in open environments during 11:00 hours.
5. Depending on temperatures prevalent during July and August 2024, additional measures are taken.
6. The decision goes into effect on signing day.
This decision has been made in view of the best practices for protecting the health and safety of workers during temperatures.
