Survey: One in three Democrats thinks Biden should get out of the race

One in three Democrats thinks that the president of the United States, Joe Biden, should end his re-election race after last week's debate with the republican counterCandidate, Donald Trump, but nearly no other Democrats perform better than Biden in a hypothetical confrontation with Trump, an agency poll [...]
The two-day poll, which closed Tuesday, found Trump, 78, and Biden, 81, maintain the support of 40% of registered voters.
Election day is November 5th.
Among the names of the main Democrats placed before respondents, only Michele Obama, wife of the former Democrat president, Barack Obama, surpassed Biden and emerged with 50% support, versus Trump by 39%.
Vice President Camala Harris, for example, received 42% support, versus Trump at 43%.
Michelle Obama, author of the best-sold book in 2018 “Becoming”, has repeatedly said she will not compete for presidents.
About 32% of the Democrats in the poll have said that Biden must give up the competition for re-election after the June 27th debate.
In that debate, Biden has stuttered all the time and has failed to challenge Trump's attacks, which in many cases have involved false claims.
Biden himself has acknowledged that there was no good performance during the debate with Trump, but has said his re-election “would destroy democracy”.
He has pledged to remain in the race.
