An emotional setback against Slovakia in the 16th phase has taken the Three Lions to the quarterfinals. Gareth Southgate's team will face Switzerland in the last phase.
The match between England and Switzerland will take place at 9: 00 a.m. on 6 July, with the winner of this match facing the Netherlands or Turkey in the semifinals.
However, five players from the Three Lions could be missing in the semifinals, provided the Southgate team defeat Switzerland.
Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, K Robbie Maino, Kieran Trippier and Conor Gallagher have all taken a yellow card so far touring, which means they'll be suspended for the semifinals if they are punished during the meeting with Switzerland and England passes away.
According to UEFA regulations, yellow cards are hidden behind the quarterfinals. This means that players who receive yellow cards in the semifinals will not be suspended to the finals.
Against Switzerland, Southgate will make at least one change in his team after protector Marc Guehi has been suspended after taking the second yellow card in the tournament against Slovakia.
