The European Union's envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has written on Facebook for his agenda last week, where he included meeting at the top negotiators' level, Besnik Bislimi, as Kosovo representative and Petar Petkov as Serbia's representative.
He has said he has agreed on future concrete steps, but there has been no progress on implementing the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
Lajcak through a Facebook post, late Monday, has said he has started his visit to London, showing he has been visiting Brussels and Madrid.
“I just started my visit to London after a busy week, which started in Brussels and ended in Madrid. In Brussels, I waited for the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia to attend last week's summit. After more than seven hours of intensive discussion, we agreed on future concrete steps on some practical issues. Unfortunately, we failed to make progress in implementing the Road to Normalization”.
“From Brussels, I traveled to Madrid to participate in the World Economic Forum's High-Level Summit on Strategic Interdependence and the European Council for Foreign Relations Annual Meeting. Both events were extremely useful in discussing the European policy course and exchanging ideas with experts and policy practitioners. During my activities, I also had the opportunity to see many of my colleagues and good friends again. Once in Madrid, I also took my stand to discuss developments in the Western Balkans with Spanish State Secretary for European Affairs”, Lajcak wrote.
