On this occasion, Osmani said Kosovo's participation in the Olympic Games represents the culmination of a unique work that in many cases has worked even in the absence of basic conditions.
She assured the athletes during the Paris race should remember that all the people will be in their favour and that every Kosovar's heart will beat for them, until she stressed that these athletes with their victories will bring victory to all of Kosovo and that it will be inspired for all new generations.
For Kosovo, our participation in the Olympic Games represents the culmination of hard work, many years old, commitment and unique determination, sometimes even in extraordinary circumstances by our athletes and their trainers. It's evidence of the endurance of our people and the ability to rise above the challenges of excellence on the world stage... as you emerge on the global scene remember that at any moment you will not be alone. As I said last time, each citizen's heart will beat your own, an entire country stands with you, proudly cheering you with full confidence in your ability and work”, Osmani said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stressed that this is a historic moment until Kosovo participates for the third time in the Olympic Games. He said these successive successes are the result of the work and passion of athletes, but also of coach Driton Kuka.
Kosovo Olympic Committee President Ismet Krasniqi said Kosovo's participation is a manifestation of the national combat spirit. According to him, Kosovo is ready to enjoy another success of athletes in Paris, and athletes will be modern heroes in the country.
Spiriting the athletes in her speech was given to Olympic champion Majlinda Kelmendi. Before them she said Kosovo is continuing major successes in the sport even after that, until she added that in Paris the team is travelling to other elite medals.
<x00> Wants a lot of success to athletes, to enjoy this experience and this journey that goes so fast and ends the sport career because it's actually short, I don't believe, but now that I've finished my career I see how many beautiful moments I've had, what emotions I've experienced that I've rarely been able to experience those emotions anywhere else, so let's enjoy it and give it a maximum”, Kelmen said.
The Olympic Games in Paris will take place from 26 July to 11 August.
