Judo coach Tony Kuka has compared Kosovo's Olympic success in this sport to the countries of the region, noting the importance of these triumphs, and the problem of peak success.
Our “North neighbour, Serbia, which has about 300 Judo clubs, as an independent state since it is, not in the former Yugoslavia, has had a medal or two bronze, with 300 clubs, they as a state of Squee have no Olympic medals, that is, zero have”, Kuka said in Klan Kosova.
“On the other hand, even a sports superpower like Croatia, still has zero medals in the Olympic games [in judo]”
Macedonia, Bosnia, the same. We have three [gold], now we have five in total. ”
