KRRE today will publish the new price for heating

The Regulatory Commission for Energy (KRRE) today at a media conference is expected to announce the price of heating. CRRE has also confirmed that most companies have demanded price increases of up to 50 percent, while some have also sought discounts, such as EMV production and EMV Energy.

It is important to note that the average price of gas this year is significantly lower compared to last year, but on the other hand there will be no subsidies from this heating season. By the way, more than 90 percent of Skopje's inhabitants receive heat from the state-owned EMV, which unites three subsidiary companies with supplies, production and distribution, including the “heathouse. North Skopje” and Energetics, highlighted by the CRRE. The heating season begins on October 15th and lasts until April 15th. 63,000 households are locked in the heating system in Skopje. Of them, 58,000 are in the EMV system or former - BELG, 1,900 are in the Hekurana heating system, and 400 families are locked up in “The Skopje-North NGR.
