Because of high temperatures, the Ministry of Health has issued the decision that beginning on July 13th-20th, 2024, the pregnant women will either be released from work or working from home until chronically ill citizens work part - time to four hours a day.
The decision also prohibits working in the construction sector in open environments during 11:00-17 o'clock hours across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
The National Institute of Public Health has published the list of chronic diseases in order for different institutions and subjects to make it easier to implement the decision.
Otherwise, temperatures this week will reach 39 degrees Celsius, health experts have called for citizens not to be exposed to the sun.
