Barcelona's new goalkeeper Guayaquil, Justin Cornejo, has lost his battle with life in the early hours of today's critical day.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper from Ecuador, the third in the team's hierarchy, had slipped into the shower and hit his head and was hospitalised in severe condition. And all this on his birthday.
