Former head of the Central Election Commission, Mazum Baraliu, has been talking about the date when the country can go to the polls, following the invitation the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has made to tomorrow for political parties to talk about the subject.
Baraliu said the earliest time for the country to go to the polls is 60 days before the mandate ends, while later 30 days before the mandate was passed.
The “That date must be set, but the Law for Elections says that date must be Sunday and be the 4-year mandate fulfilled. The date, I think it should be somewhere in March. The weather is better, the day is longer, and the space to prepare is also greater”.
This, March 16th and 23rd are Sunday days. These days should be, one of these when political subjects are found out which is more appropriate for them”, Baraliu said in Klan Kosova.
In contrast, Baraliu said that from what has been seen so far, all political subjects in the assembly, in one way or another, despite the statements São have had great will to go to early elections, as he added that if the parties agree, the country could even go to elections earlier than the time defined by the law.
“in this country, not always enough laws to be respected. We only have the main problem of law enforcement, but we have the problem with law enforcement. Disrespect can also occur, if political subjects agree, if they impose such a solution then it could also happen to have elections earlier”, he said.
