By July 1st, however, there has been a start in subsidising border police for fellow countrymen coming to Kosovo.
The subsidised police will have a month's worth of access to Kosovo, and is only valid for non-commercial passenger vehicles, up to 9 seats.
Subvention does not include border police with different validity terms than a month, nor do vehicles like buses, trucks, motorcycles and so on. Security police taken at BKS offices within Kosovo's territory, not at the border entrance points, are not covered by subvention.
This government initiative is aimed at facilitating trips for fellow countrymen who visit the country during the summer season.
