Even the Olympic games “Paris 2024” were completed. Unfortunately, with bad luck, the chance to win the Olympic medal went away. The medal that has never been closer to me than it has now, but sports fate took away my hand. However, it did not take away my dream that one day I should have a medal, which is my vital goal.
I started training in the Judo sport in 2002 with my coach, Driton Kuka. Since then until today I've done everything I can to get here. Of course I was lucky to have the best coach in the world, on my side. He, my family, my city and the Republic of Kosovo, dedicated all my achievements.
Judo I gave it all. Cohen, focus, dedication, sacrifice, and proper devotion. Judo gave me too much, but not enough. I still have work to do.
Being such an athlete before all, you must be a real character, having a discipline, regime and a very high culture. Then it starts and comes in terms of work and achievements. Touching this level is not easy, because this level makes me the competition athlete in the Republic of Kosovo!
A jungle starts the day at 0500 a.m. practice. To return home and close the chosen food. By sleeping for minutes and preparing for next training. And so on. Unforeseen are conditions, external factors, and unpredictable circumstances - injuries, sickness, problems, and other issues surrounding us as life's challenges.
I've scored successes that are vulnerable to the Kosovo sport. I'm European champion(U18) I'm European champion. U23 -Gior 2018. European champion Lisbonne 2021). I got gold medals in the Mediterranean games. Taragona 2018). I also have gold medals in the grandslam in Paris2018. I have gold medals in the grand prix. Except for these achievements, I have many other bronze medals. In the olympic games Tokyo 2020, I've taken 7th place, and these games in Paris 2024, after three straight victories, two of which I am able to read, lost to the semifinals by the Hidayat Heydarov, whom I defeated in Pristina in December 2023. These are my successes that no one has forgiven, but they've come to a sacrifice that I only know, my coach and my family.
I am proud to have represented my country and the Albanian nation in the largest sporting event in the world. I am deeply proud of my nation throughout the world, which inspired and motivated me greatly with the messages they sent me. I was honored to represent you, and I'm grateful for the fanatic support you gave me. It has not been easy to rate Olympic and participation in Paris. Let alone the world's most powerful race, but there's been an experience that I'm going to save, I'm going to ride it, and I'm going to use it to get stronger for the races I'm going to follow.
One thing I'm pretty sure of. I will work three times as hard as I am in the next world championship and in the next Olympics I will be stronger in all respects. I know in sports, experience and experience are the main words in competitions like these in Olympia, but I know by then I'll have both. Tokyo and Paris, I'm going to use my mind and my work to stir up the success I've been sacrificed all 22 years without stopping a moment. I'm pretty sure with God's help, he'll do it. I believe that my sacrifice will be rewarded sooner or later, meanwhile, I will absolutely fulfill everything that depends on me to fulfill.
Until then, we have a big job ahead of us. To close this dedication to you I have words for those who, never cease my unreserved support to me.
I thank my coach Tony warmly. I thank the Judo federation. I thank my country for their support. I thank my family and everyone who believed in me.
I'll be back strong!
