The Italian technician has signed a five-year contract until 2029, which also includes an extension option for another season until June 20230.
Six staff members will also be joined by Leicester, as Chelsea will pay compensation fee exceeding 10m euros.
Joining Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, is a dream for every coach. I look forward to working with a very talented group of players and staff to develop a team that continues the club's success tradition and makes our fans proud”, Maresca said after formalisation.
