The Peja prosecutor opened the investigation into the event, but the file has now been transferred to the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.
The news has confirmed for Dukagjin, Peja Prosecutor's spokesman Shkodran Nikci, who, due to the sensitivity of the investigative process, has not provided more details about the case.

The citizens' group, most of them from Decani, made public appearances on October 2023, while three days later, the mayor of the Decani Community, the Ramosaj Union, gathered the Islamic Community Council in response to this event.
They viewed this act as a call to promote hatred, which they said is harmful and condemned.
