(2 years ago)The UEFA Ethics and Discipline Commission has ruled to fine the Albanian Football Federation at 37,375 euros in sum due to incidents occurred during the first round match in the European Championship finals “German 2024” against Italy, played at the Dortmund Stadium on 15 June 2024. Financial liberalisation has come from problems caused by some Albanian fans who lit flared during the match, threw items into the field, broadcast inappropriate messages at this big sporting event for our national team, as well as for the break of the match by a fan during the second part of the game.
The Football Federation finds the case tow all Albanian fans to be more responsible and avoid the creation of these totally inevitable incidents and riots, which could bring financial penalties and damage the image of Albania and Albanian football. Also, the FSHF suggests Albanian fans that non-communicational (political, ethnic, etc) messages are not allowed during matches.
The FSHF invites fans and football players to support the Albanian National on this magical and historical journey to EURO 2024, showing citizenship and accountability through correct conduct and by respecting rules and opponents.
Full decisions of the Ethics and Discipline Commission at UEFA:
To fine the Albanian Football Federation 10,000 euros for lighting fireworks.
To fine the Albanian Football Federation with 12,375 euros for throwing things out.
To fine the Albanian Football Federation at 5,000 euros for the conquest of the field.
To fine the Albanian Football Federation 10,000 euros for broadcasting inappropriate messages for a sports event.
The above fines of $337,375 must be poured into the U bank account EFA within 90 days of communicating this decision
