Questions about this witness have been started by prosecutor Matt Halling, who in the reading summary said the witness has been a journalist who has covered The KLA during the war, reports “Justice Trust”.

“Witness 04411 was a journalist who covered The KLA during the war. He has taken photographs of important elements or moments, including the role of the accused. The Witness wrote a book about his experience published in 2019 called “the War Book”, Halling read.

Witness Bytyci claimed to be the author of a book entitled “War Book”, in which he reflects his wartime experiences in Kosovo.

According to the chairman of the court, Charles Smith's testimony of this witness is expected to last about two days, 11 hours respectively.

He said the SPS had envisioned 3 to 4 hours for questioning, while protecting the accused about 7 and a half hours for questioning.

The witness statements stemming from the preparation hearing with the SPS were accepted as material evidence. However, if his book is accepted entirely, or some of it remains to make the decision after a break on the plea of protecting the accused after saying that they do not oppose him, but they need consultation among themselves because of some uncertainty.

After the break, the court ruled, all the translated pages of this book were accepted.
