Hundreds of thousands of supporters from all over Europe will descend to Germany for the month-long football festival. 24 nations will participate in the 17th edition of the European Championship, but Italy is unlikely to preserve its crown.
Some of the biggest players on the planet will compete in Germany with Kylian Mbappe, aiming to lead France to glory after sealing his long-standing move to Real Madrid. France will be among the favourites beside England, Portugal and Germany.

All will be discovered over the next month, but the specialised page of Transfermarkt has assessed the most valuable Euro-2024 teams based on market values.
The 10 most valuable teams in Euro 2024
England has the most valuable Euro-2024 team, with the combined market value of its 26 players standing at 1.52 billion euros.
Gareth Southgate has five players at his disposal with estimates of 100m euros, or more, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden and Bellingham.

France ranks second for the most valuable Euro-2024 teams, with their most valuable player at 180m euros.
Mbppe will be linked to Aureleen Tchovanen and Eduardo Camavinga in Real Madrid, and midfielders are France's two other players worth 100m euros or more.
The only other nation worth a team that eclipses the value of 1 billion euros is Portugal, but Ronaldo is no longer their star. The 39-year-old is no longer a guaranteed title, and the legendary assailant has the sixth lowest market value in the Portuguese team of 15m euros.
While Portugal has no valued players over 100m euros, but Reuben Dias, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva remain high-level players.

Spain is seen as a massive foreign player for the tournament, but they have the fourth most valuable squad (966m euros) with Rodrin their most valuable star at 120m euros, while 16-year-old Lamine Yamal (90m euros) is another player to watch.
Germany is the fifth most valuable (51m euros) team with Wirtz (130m euros) and Jamal Musala (120m euros) estimated to be among the tournament stars.
Next came the sixth Netherlands, worth 845m euros, Italy seventh with 706m euros, Belgium and eight with 585m euros, Denmark and the ninth with 416m euros, and Ukraine closes the team's worth of 379m euros.
