Intensive rains have caused increased water levels in the river and the city's sewers.

According to ground reports, major roads and some neighbourhoods have been flooded, making traffic and pedestrian circulation difficult.
Residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary movements and remain secure until the situation improves.
Local authorities have mobilised emergency teams offering immediate assistance to the affected.

Measures have also been taken to help clear roads and sewers to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
However, the head of the Pec municipality Gazmend Muhharrier, in a statement for “RADIO 1” has claimed the situation is under control.

Until after 10: 00 p.m., the latest reports all indicate that the situation was managed. The clouds were heavy, but manageable. Citizens are invited for caution, and we remain on alert”, Mujarri said.
By contrast, the Pec Regional Police, Firefighters and Emergency Teams have taken to crisis countries to weather problems from rainfall.
