The candidate for prime minister from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, has said the ruling party, Vetevendosje, has not seriously been going to the polls. Meanwhile, it is optimistic that in the upcoming elections it will be prime minister.
Hamza has said that she is ready for the elections, only his party, while expressing readiness to co-operate with all parties in the country, including Vetevendosje Movement.
“We have always been open to co-operation with all political parties, with those in opposition and the ruling party, on specific issues which are in the country's interest in Kosovo. We have our political differences, conceivedly in programming terms I am closer to some opposition parties, while going to elections turns out the only Democratic Party of Kosovo has been serious and ready. We've stated that any of the legal options that come into the picture, we're willing to make our contribution, even through the resignation of the prime minister, which he's not doing; even through a no-confidence motion, Hamza said.
He has counted the reasons why the country had to go to the elections as soon as possible, in whatever way possible.
The Kosovo Democratic Party will certainly give its 18 votes (for the collapse of the Government). We have been willing to co-operate with all parties that are represented in the Kosovo Assembly for the distribution of the country's Parliament and the election, due to the economic situation, citizens' well-being, price hikes, standard weakening, the situation in education and health”.
The “is not what it could be and should be, and for that reason it means the Democratic Party of Kosovo has been ready and prepared to go to the elections, but it turns out that the ruling Vetevendosje party has not wanted elections, because if it wanted elections, it has been sufficient to vote the majority and votes of the Democratic Party for the country to go to the polls. But it turns out they're advertising and they say we've been willing and actually haven't been ready and normally that the other two parties present at the Kosovo Assembly have not shown any will for the country to go to the polls. Anyway, we're in the last few months, and even though the elections are still going to come at”, Hamza said.
Hamza, who currently heads South Mitrovica, is optimistic that he will be Kosovo's next prime minister. He said they are working hard to achieve this goal.
“We work hard for the Democratic Party of Kosovo to have the prime minister, and I believe that the next prime minister will be among the Democratic Party of Kosovo, as it is known I am formally nominated for prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo. We will work on having the Democratic Party”, Hamza has said. / EO
