German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said his country must prepare for war because of increased Russian threats.
“Must be ready for war by 2029”, the minister said in the German Parliament.
His comments come at a time of increased fear among European countries, especially those in Eastern Europe, on possible Russian aggression that would extend beyond Ukraine.
“We should not believe Putin will stop at Ukrainian borders. We need young men and women who can protect this country”, said Pistorius.
