Ursula von der Leyeen, Antonio Costa and Kaya Kallas are allegedly to lead the European Union in the next five years.
The 27 European Union leaders have agreed on the bloc's political leadership for the next five years: Ursula von der Leyen as European Commission President Antonio Costa as president of the European Council and Kaya Kallas as High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
The leaders also approved on Thursday the Strategic Agency, a document with broad ambitions aimed at leading the future work of the three appointees.
Vaughn der Leen and Kallas' nominations are not final and are still seeking confirmation from the European Parliament.
Costa, a former prime minister of Portugal, is automatically elected. He will take office on December 1st, Euronews writes. com
