EU High Representative Josep Borrell will go to Austria tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, where he will participate in certain events, meetings and discussions on EU relations with the Western Balkans, the EU has announced.
During his stay, he will also meet with Austrian authorities, including President Alexander van der Bellen, in Vienna on Thursday.
On Friday, the High Representative to go to Wachau for the annual Eropa Forum, where he will receive the European Award, Dr. Alois Mock.
During the forum, the High Representative will participate in working sessions and discussions with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, the Western Balkan foreign ministers and representatives of civil society organisations. They will exchange opinions on co-operation between the European Union and the Western Balkans on foreign and security policy, as well as on EU enlargement.
The report reportedly will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with representatives from the Western Balkans.
