The central level of four years has not undertaken any activity in assisting the Malisheva municipality in terms of dezination. As you know, the Malisheva Community is one of the most endangered areas, causing bleeding fever. As temperatures rise, several cases of being bitten by ticks - carrying the virus that causes bleeding fever - have been recorded.
The Malisheva municipality is one of the most endangered municipalities in the world, and for this reason, it has begun dezinating in the remaining areas.
Halit Mazreku, an emergency manager in the Malisheva municipality, said the Malisheva municipality has contracted a firm for the dezinectation of 250 hectares, but that, according to him, is insufficient compared to areas that need dezinectation.
“are insufficient compared to 39 areas that have the Malisheva Community. These 250 hectares are trying to distribute in the hearths, the wandering areas especially in areas where there have been victims in the past as well as in areas where, at the moment, there were numerous cases of infection from the blizzards”, Mazreku said.
Meanwhile, Hajdin Berisha, the health director in the Malisheva municipality, told Radio Kosovo that the responsible state bodies, such as the Interministerial Council, should take the necessary measures to combat the Krida Congo bleeding fever as the most effective measure in combating the risk stemming from stinging ticks:
“We appeal to the Ministry of Health to the minister whether to call the Interministerial Council and take the necessary measures to combat the EHKK, because from the central level so far that the last four years no activity has been undertaken in this direction and that is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, I KSHPK, Ministry of Agriculture, AUV, in order to fight and prevent E The HKK, to have results and protect the lives and health of citizens”, Berisha appealed.
