The police made 53 arrests in Wimbledon five for violations and most of the others for efforts to breach security. Major sporting events often attract people who try to enter without tickets. A powerful police operation was conducted to support Wembley's security plan, and the staff worked closely with stadium stewards to ensure security at all times”, a police statement said.
