Tv Klan has cleared the list of 20 cities where these devices will be installed, which will be functional 24 hours.
In 5 of the cities, namely Kamuz, Vlora, Lezha, Rreshen and part of Tirana has begun installing intelligent cameras.
Through these high - resolution devices, the field situation is monitored, the movement of each vehicle, as well as the license plates of the announced cars was identified.
High - resolution intelligent cameras also operate on audio and enable clear images even for suspected walking or driving people.
Cities designated to be part of project “Smart City” has been selected by the Interior Ministry in collaboration with the State Police based on the criminal level they have.
The 20 cities' intelligent camera monitoring project will cost a total of 60m euros, where a significant portion of the value will be made available by the United Arab Emirates.
