The “has never happened at the UN General Assembly to agree on the genocide issue, never happened, and now it's happening for the first time because some people wanted to politicise this important topic and did it”, he said.

“Those people who wanted to stigmatise the Serbian people failed and would not succeed”, he added.
The UN General Assembly today adopted a resolution on Srebrenica, announcing July 11th as the International Day of Memory and Memory of Genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, which should be celebrated annually. The resolution was adopted by 84 votes, 19 against and 68 abstentions.
We remember that 8372 people were killed only during the days of July 1995 in Srebrenica. The number of victims in Bosnia has been much larger than 100,000 killed.
Otherwise, crime was recognised as genocide by the International Court of Justice in The Hague in 2007.
