According to the announcement, this [...]
According to the announcement, this achievement is the result of the KRC's commitment to providing free legal assistance to survivors of sexual violence during the Kosovo war.
These court processes began since 2021. Initially, the indictments are prepared and delivered on 5 occasions, while later the number of cases has continued to add”, the announcement said.
QKRT has said that survivors of sexual violence with full retirement age have been deprived of the right to double retirement. This is over with the Court's decision.
So the survivors had to choose only one pension. Such cases, QKRT has been carefully and convincing in its professionalism and findings, has supported survivors for achieving justice and recognition of the full right to exploit double retirement. The release of three consecutive biases for recognising the right to double pensions for survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo is sufficient evidence that survivors should be recognised right in implementing two pensions”, the report follows.
The QKRT has called on the Government of Kosovo to regulate this issue through an administrative act and “enabled categories that enjoy the right to benefit from two pensions to receive them from the moment the legal conditions are met, so that survivors do not wait for years until the court decides to recognise this right”.
