Russia puts Zelensky on wanted persons list

Russia's Interior Ministry has placed the name of Ukrainian President Volodyr Zelensky on the list of wanted persons and is published at the ministry's database. Even in the past, Russian authorities have named Ukrainian officials and politicians on the list of wanted persons. Last December, Russia's Interior Ministry placed Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ukraine Defence Ministry, Lieutenant General Kiril Budanov, on the list of wanted persons.
Last spring, a court in Moscow filed charges in his absence for creating a terrorist community, for carrying out a terrorist attack by a group of people and for possession of weapons and explosive means.
On May 3rd, Russian media reported that Russia's list of wanted persons had been added that Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Secretary Aleksandr Litvinenko, former Ukrainian Finance Minister Alexandr Slapak, and former head of Ukraine's Central Bank Steppan Kubiv.
