Russia attacks Ukraine's Sum with artillery scare

Russia attacked Ukraine's Sumi region with fears and artillery during the night, Ukraine's Air Force and the military administration of the northeastern region said.

The region was promoted eight times, the administration wrote in Telegram, adding that there are no reports of victims.

The Air Force said it has down 12 of the 13 drones launched by Russia in terms of energy infrastructure in Sumi.

The regional administration said electricity supply has been temporarily cut off in the Sumi, Romni and Okhtirka regions.

On April 17th, Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, has said that since the beginning of 2024, Russian “trus have promoted the Sum region more than four thousand times”.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian Army repeatedly reports on the discovery of Russian sabotage and intelligence groups in the Sumi region.

Despite evidence and evidence, Moscow denies that civilian targets are the target of its attacks.

Russia began its full - scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
