President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have six months to gain American voters' support for a second term.
But Mr. Trump will spend some of this time in state or federal courts as he faces four applicants, among them, for illegally keeping classified documents and forging business data. He says prosecutors are interfering in the elections.
My “My actions were legal. This is being done for political reasons. They want Biden to be solved. That's the only reason”, says Mr. Trump.
Judicial hearings are limiting Mr. Trump's time to campaign, but he says, what he calls “political persecution” is making it even more popular with voters.
It's terrible what's happening in our country. I hope November 5th, the most important day in our country's history of my opinion, called Election Day, I hope it will bring about changes because these people are destroying our country”, said Mr. Trump.
For the last time, Mr. Trump received the appointment of the Republican Party for president at the 2020 assembly in North Carolina. This year the republican assembly takes place in Wisconsin. Mr. Trump has still not chosen the candidate for the vice presidential post.
Among those believed to be on the list for the post are Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, Senator J.D. Ohio's Vance, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and New York's Elise Stefanic lawmaker.
As president, Mr. Biden has the advantage of meeting at the White House to draw voter attention. Mr. Biden is stepping up attacks on rival Trump at gatherings while claiming a strong economy.

The Democrat Party recently appointed Mr. Biden for president in the 2020 assembly in Wisconsin. This year, the democratic assembly will be held in August in Illinois. Mr. Biden is running with Vice President Kamala Harris again.
It has been campaigning to establish a federal law protecting abortion, rejected by the Supreme Court in 2022.
Donald Trump was the president who removed the federal defense for abortion. Joe Biden will be the president to return the defense for abortion”, Mrs. Harris said.
Biden and Trump candidates are expected to debate before the November vote. They say they are ready for debate, but no date has been set. / VOA
