Kyljan Mbpe has refused to be part of France's football team for the Paris Summer Olympics from 26 July to 11 August.
By “Le Equipe”, Mbappe has rejected the invitation of the French Olympic team coach Thierry Henry.
The 25-year-old wants to focus entirely on Real Madrid, which is expected to be his new team.
France's president, Emmanuel Macron, had hoped the former Paris star would play in these Games.
Mbande will play in advance with France at the European Championship.
At the Olympics, players play until 23 years of age, while three players may be above this age.
Henry is expected to invite Alexander Lacazetten, Antoine Greezmann and Olivier Giroudin.
