Lulzim Hetem, every day under heavy measures, goes to work

Many weeks of opposition, protest and violence... but the four Albanian mayors in northern Kosovo continue to remain in power.

Currently, they are working unhindered on municipal objects, although they do not have the support of Serbian citizens who are majority in the northern part.

Free Europe Radio has conducted a report on the work of Albanian mayors, including Lulzim Hetem.

Report explains the difficulty of work. Hetemi goes to work every day from South Mitrovica, where he lives, at his work office in the Leposavic municipality under strict security measures.
