Lorik Cana vs joint Albania project, Serbia

The legendary captain of the Albanian national, Lorik Cana, has been positioned against the initiative for joint organisation of the 21-year European Championships in 2017 between Albania and Serbia.

The former national captain, the strong image of the Reds for many years, commented for the first time on the strong Tring Sport debate that has created in FSHF's joint public opinion candidacy with the Serbian Football Federation to organise such a significant event.

For Cana, this is not the right moment, as some process of normalising relations between the two countries must first be passed.

I find it rash. Without some process of normalising relations, it is very difficult to have joint organisation despite the good intentions of the Federation. Right now I don't think it's the right step”, Lorik Cana for Tring Sport said.
