Leposavic drug lab required detention for suspect

Prescription is required for suspect M. Who allegedly carried out “production and unauthorized processing of narcotics psychotrope, analog or tool, device or narcotics materials” and “kept under ownership, control, or unauthorized possession of weapons”.

This was disclosed by Mitrovica's Constitutional Prosecutor.

“During the search of the defendant's house, MlI, in the village of Miokovica, the municipality of Leposaviq have been found and seized rifles with two long barrels, bullets for long arms, two radio-connections, radio adaptations for the Kosovo Police uniform in which there were black gloves, masks for facial cover and black glasses, while in the improvised laboratory facility for narcotics cultivation, where the four hundred suspected plants with a height of five-inch, five-inch, nine-inch of suspected chemicals, and other plants serving as herbs and plants. The defendant, with the State Prosecutor's decision, is in custody from May 07th 2024”. It says on notice.

The hearings for the appointment of detention measures against the defendants are expected to be held, near the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica.
