Economic Crimes Investigation Units have arrested yesterday a woman and a man in Pristina, allegedly in co-ordination through counterfeiting documents, cheating and official presentations, have deceived a man into selling him a flat and receiving over 90 thousand euros, Express reports.

For the same case, police have identified two other suspects but are on the run. Deception is suspected to have occurred during 2023-24.

At the prosecutor's decision, the suspects were sent to the holding.

“First 2023-2024. By carrying out the court's order, the Economic Crimes Investigation Units have raided two locations, as well as arrested two persons a Kosovo male and female on suspicion that, in co-ordination of documents, fraud and false presentations as official persons, they have deceived the Kosovo male victim if they have sold him a flat and taken over 900,000. Two Kosovo male suspects on the run have also been identified. The suspects following the investigation into the presence of attorneys with the prosecutor's decision have been sent to the detention”, said the 24-hour police report.
