Tyson Fury's match with Oleksandr Usyk will take place on 21 December in Riyadh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshih, has announced.
Usyck came out victorious through a separate decision when rivals met earlier this month to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
It was well published at the beginning of the war that the Fury-Usyk contract included a remecation clause.
Writing in the social media on Wednesday, Alalikh said: “Revanshi ... is now scheduled on December 21, 2024 during the Riyadh season. The world will again see another historic war. Our devotion to boxing fans continues. We hope you like”.
