In a statement from the Saudi club, the return of the French star to Los Blancco is confirmed.
“Karem Benzema is undergoing further examinations at Real Madrid's clinic with his former doctor in Spain, which supervised his care in previous years”.
“consults were organised between the medical teams of Ittihad and Real Madrid in connection with Benzema's injuries, which caused him to lose key matches this time of”.
“Benzema has already left for Spain and is expected to return next week”, the Saudi club reported.
Benzema has scored 13 goals and eight assistings in his 29 presentations for Ittihad this season.
The Frenchman is considered a Real Madrid legend, where he scored 354 goals and 165 assets in 648 matches. He won five titles of the Champions League during his time at the club among several other titles.
