Ambassador Rohde says Sarrazin's visit relates to Berlin Process

German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde has announced that there were guests at his residence of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Germany's special envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.

Rohde said he is honored to have received them, while showing that the topic of discussion on this table was the Berlin Process.

“Progress in implementing mobileity agreements in the Berlin Process, regional co-operation and expectations from the next summit, which will be held in Berlin on its 10th anniversary, was the topic of discussion. The prime minister recalled the importance of the implementation of the ID agreement between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, facilitating the free movement of citizens, before the next summit. The prime minister stressed that on 16 May in Kotor in Montenegro, Kosovo requested that the Western Balkans become part of the European Union's Anti-Plaundering Authority (AMLA) to increase financial integrity and strengthen co-operation in the fight against financial crime, which became part of the joint declaration issued in Kotor”, ZKM reported.

Also, for his contribution and role in strengthening relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Germany, as well as in advancing regional co-operation, Kurti has thanked Sarrazin.
