The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has criticised the current central governance that with the wrong policies has brought Kosovo in serious condition and that the invitation for meetings is aimed at partitioning the opposition, as according to this party the only solution is Albin Kurti's resignation from the prime minister's post.

LDK's comments led by Lumir Abdixhiku came after the meeting Prime Minister Albin Kurti had with PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi on Monday, in which the possibility of early elections was discussed. At this meeting two other opposition parties, the AAK's LDK refused to participate.

LDK chairman Kurti's invitation to the meeting is seeing it more as an attempt to split the opposition and not for new elections, as for that, Prime Minister Kurti must in advance resign as the positive response to the PDK meeting considers it a “shift to LVV) policy instrument”.

Meetings for division of guilt among parties, but not taking responsibility! Opposition instrumentism is their goal, In this instrumentisation they have found allies! But they will not find the Democratic League of Kosovo... So I tell you two-three words: It's up to you! We're going to set the party by ourselves”, Obadiah said in the footnote of the 34th anniversary of the LDK's founding.

He said that today they are jointly marking not only the establishment of the LDK branch in Ferizaj, but the birth of national aspirations of Kosovo Albanians.

“34 years ago, from December 23rd 1989, and on every day and month of the following, prominent intellectuals of the time, workers, students, and family were getting together about a major national goal, in response to the monumental call of history, the founders of the hour were creating the largest and most significant historical movement of Kosovo Albanians, creating the Democratic League of Kosovo... At the head of this covenant and the covenant of this popular movement, there was our historic chieftain, the founding Father of the state of Kosovo, the historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova... the birth of the LDK, was the birth of artefactled political aspirations for freedom, independence, democracy. It was the birth of our collective effort for free, dignified, independent life in the state of the Republic of Kosovo”, Obadiah has said.

He has said the Democratic League of Kosovo during its political party activity has articulated people's aspirations for freedom and independence, while calling for better conditions to be created for youth so that it does not abandon the country.

The “young people and our young people, the families in Kosovo, we need to give Europe not as an escape destination, but Europe as a community in which we are members as a democratic state... As we speak here today, 173 Kosovo citizens have already left the country. So every day, every day from 173 Kosovo citizens leave their country, 1,211 for a week and a whole 60 thousand a year... As we speak here today, our country, the Republic of Kosovo, is sanctioned, isolated and rejected in the Euro-Atlantic family, where our state travel has no alternative. Today, EU measures -- of Kosovo's most friendly countries -- have been added to the new criteria, respectively, autonomy such as “pocratine” of Serbs in Kosovo, the precondition of membership in the Council of Europe. This condition will be there, as populations choose the way to clash with allies”, Abdixhiku said.

He has criticised Kurti Government for its serious condition, as expressed in almost every sector, standing as spectators while refusing to raise wages and investments, which are affecting the true well-being of the country's citizens.
