Superliga brings today the Balkan derby light, interesting encounters in Gjilan

The 30th week in Kosovo's Superleague will open today, with three matches in the programme to be held.

This week's Derby will take place today in Suhareka, where the defending champion and table leader, the Balkans, is waiting for Light, says Express newspaper.

Given that both teams are fighting for the champion title, today's match is expected to be quite interesting.

The Balkans lead on the board with 59 points and enter this match after two consecutive victories in the championship, as does Light. The Gjilanians have two points less and are in second position.

The interesting encounter is expected to be that between Gjilan and Fernikli 74, with both teams aiming to flee equality positions, thus automatically securing survival at the elite.

Right now in this position (8) it's “Nikli” with 30 points collected, three less than the gynians, who are in their seventh position.

Red “ ” is going through better shape and entering this match after two victories, as the team from Drenas has recorded an equality of a loss in two preliminary matches.

The next match for today will take place at the “Progress Thaci” stadium, between Freedom and Dukagjin.

Prizrenas have almost been welcomed by the Superlea, ranking the latest on the table with only 10 points collected and with a balance of 21 losses, seven draws and only one victory.

On the other hand, Dukagini aims to return victory through this meeting after three consecutive draws.

The team from Kline has 37 points and ranks sixth on the board.
