13 international agreements have again failed to be voted in the Kosovo Assembly at today's plenary session.
The same were not put to the vote at all, as there were no more than eighty deputies in the shed.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, said the agreements would be put in order again at the next sessions.
However, there was debate among MPs about the international agreement on the construction of the Tetovo-Prizren tunnel.
MP The PDK, Ferat Shala, said this agreement has great judicial, economic and scientific uncertainty. According to him, this capital investment for the country does not refer to any law or regulation in Kosovo.
This bill is very special, but with very great judicial, economic and scientific uncertainty. The purpose of this bill is to ratify the Tetovo-Prizren tunnel construction project. I would also professionally and legally agree with these three articles, as if the agreement we are trying to ratify would be good professionally and clearly applicable. I would agree that the agreement would be based on Kosovo laws... In no article do we refer to any law, internal government or international regulations. So this agreement is not called at any point and the Kosovo legal arrangement”, he said.
But he reacted by LVV deputy Artan Abrashi, who said he is sorry for not having this agreement, which he claims links Prizren and Tetovo.
This is for regret. It's really pathetic. Let Prizren citizens know who's blocking them, who's keeping them isolated, and who's stopping a decent aspirin. But one thing I know that this government, the LVV and whoever tells the MP to himself will not stop and will find ways to push this project forward. The Prizren-Tetovo road will be realised. You have”, he said.
But, the opposition MP said he is not against road construction, but opposed on behalf of the road, as he said to be stolen.
I'm about to build the road, but I'm not on behalf of the road to steal. In capital projects it is not stolen”, Shala stressed.
