Russia threatens West with harsh response if touched assets

Russian officials threatened the West on Sunday with a harsh “response” in the event the frozen Russian assets are confiscated, promising endless “and strict measures.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russia would never hand over territory seized by Ukraine in exchange for the return of frozen assets.
