For the first week of this process, Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) at a media conference will present the performance of field work for population registration.
For the field census process, U.d. will speak Chief Executive of the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK), Avni Kastrati.
“Population registration is an extremely volume and complex process that requires support and involvement of all. This conference collects all the parties involved, as well as the interest parties that can contribute to this process to facilitate the field work of population registration”, the AK reports.
The conference is held at the ASC facilities starting at 10:00.
In the Population Record Project ( ReKos 2024) are engaged in about 3,500 recorders and about 900 supervisors. The number of supervisors and recorders in each municipality is determined according to the number of population and spatial alignment of the record areas (ZR).
AKS has also sent phone messages to citizens to announce the process.
The ASS will come up with preliminary results in three months. A rewarding game will also be activated during this process. Any citizen who strikes the population more closely will earn 10,000 euros.
The last census was conducted in 2011. According to this census, Kosovo has over 1.7 million inhabitants.
