This terrible phenomenon that is hurting our society and our country, this childicide, which has unfortunately taken enormous proportions, must be stopped at any cost. And the only way to stop it is if we're all re-awaken as society, as a country, as a nation. We wake up again against this phenomenon because we are not the lives of girls and women to lose”Osman said.
Osmani said this event took place a day after the launch of the second edition of the Forum for Women, Peace and Security, where violence against women was discussed.
I call on all of you, civil society activists, institutions of security and justice, citizens, women and men together to stop gender-based violence once and for all, which is damaging our country and can destroy it inside”, Osmani added.
Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu says it is unacceptable how within 4 days two women were killed by their husbands.
