A suspicious device has been found today by Kosovo Police stationed under a car in Leposaviq. Kosovo Police personnel safely removed the unbroken vehicle from the country in close co-ordination with a US KFOR team for EOD”, KFOR report said.
The case has also been confirmed by Deputy Police Director for the Northern Region Veton Elshani, who said that once he received the information, instead of the event, respective police units have emerged.
“Today, around 11.00 today, police have received information that under a car in the city of Leposavich is a suspicious, unbroken vehicle. Police have reacted immediately, and police personnel have responded to the scene, including the K9 and EOD Police Unit. Also present were EOD and US KFOR”, Elshani told Express.
He has said that the unbroken vehicle has been pulled out of the country safely, while police around 16:20 have left the scene.
