Clinton backs progress achieved in Kosovo

In decades since Kosovo has become an independent state, activists have provided significant progress to ensure gender equality in the public and political sector. After many years you have managed to secure for victims of sexual violence, you have elected the first and now the second president who is committed to maintaining and strengthening peace, expanding economic opportunities, and proving that co-operation brings more results to”, it is expressed.
Organising this forum, Clinton has described it as determination to strengthen women.
“Gras are not just victims of violence, women especially in Kosovo, have played a very important role throughout these years, I am happy to establish this centre of excellence, our democracies are more powerful when women are involved. You already have two women's presidents in Kosovo. I am excited to see how this forum has achieved its goals, I am committed to being part of the achievements and efforts to empower women”, she has stated.
Her speech has been met with applause and standing of participants at the Women's Forum, organised by President Vjosa Osmani.
