Defence Minister Richard Marles said the money will be used to finance short-range air defence systems, fears for the Ukrainian Army and equipment, including helmets, blowboats, fire masks and electricity generators, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation said.
Marles made the announcement during a trip to Ukraine, where he met with the country's Prime Minister Denys Schmyal and Deputy Defence Minister Ivan Havryliuk.
He said the latest package took Australian military aid to Ukraine to $880m since Russia began its invasion in 2022, Sky News reports.
